Keith Belton is a native of Charlotte, NC. where he attended West Charlotte High School. Following graduation Keith furthered his education at North East Mississippi Community College, Booneville, MS., where he earned a Liberal Arts Degree. Shortly after graduation from NEMCC, Keith accepted an athletic scholarship to attend Syracuse University, Syracuse, NY. While at Syracuse, Keith competed on the football team where he was named team captain during his senior year.

Upon completion of his collegiate career, Keith decided to embark on a career as a professional football player. After going undrafted in the 2004 NFL Draft, Keith earned a spot with the Detroit Lions, where he would remain for the 2004 season.Following Keith’s time in Detroit, he joined the Chicago Bears for the 2005-2006 season. From 2006-2007, Keith was on the Denver Broncos roster.

Keith is married to his childhood sweetheart Shantre M. Mayfield. The couple has three children Peyton, Aubrey and Storm. They currently reside in Los Angeles, California where Keith serves as Associate Head Strength and Conditioning Coach at The University of Kansas. Keith also serves as Founder/CEO of Strength Endurance Academy(S.E.A). The S.E.A serves youth throughout Southern California and Kansas promoting health, nutrition and fitness. At S.E.A, our primary objective is to eradicate childhood obesity and bullying.
